Have a Merry Pink Christmas

One of my favourite things about Christmas is being able to have fun with the decorations and create a new look each year. A great starting point when thinking about your Xmas theme, it to pick 3 colours and carry the look through to your table setting, wrapping paper and even your tree decorations

This year I thought I would match my current decor and  bring a little pink into my Xmas table setting, with touches of Black & Gold to really make the pink pop!

By the time you have bought presents for the kids, friends and family not least Xmas lunch and all the trimmings, Christmas costs can add up!  I’ve aimed to keep the cost of my decorations low, by sticking with a theme, making the most of on trend budget buys from Kmart and Target and using flowers to add colour and interest to my Xmas table.

Kmart  have a stunning range of Christmas decorations and tableware. I’m using these gorgeous Matt Black dinner plates from Kmart, at only $2 each they easily fit into the budget. Add a contrasting Pink side plate and Kmart Gold cutlery to really make a statement.

Adding a few ‘Shop Small” pieces to your Christmas table setting really helps to create a more personalised and unique look. I picked up some stunning gold dipped feathers for only $14 for a pack of 15 from Party Wild. I placed  them over my Black plates for an elegant look. I have also used Che Sara’s gorgeous Blush pink baskets to house Gold and pink baubles from Target.

Bed Bath and Table also have a great range of Xmas decorations to suit a pink and gold theme. I picked up this gorgeous pink Xmas tree to add to my table setting. Hazel-baby Soy candles Stunning Matt Black Sugar Plum candle is a stunning addition.

Have fun creating your dream Christmas table setting and be creative! I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

xx Kirra
